This title brings together filmmakers from four corners of the globe to reveal the process and passion behind their work. The 15 film-makers featured in this new collection have continued to both define and push the boundaries of the documentary tradition and are among the most important filmmakers alive today. The interviewees include Ken Burns (US "Jazz"), Paul Watson (UK "The Family"), Anand Patwardhan (India, "Bombay Our City"), Alastair Fothergill ("The Blue Planet" series, UK) and Hans-Dieter Grabe (Germany, "Mendel Szajnfeld's Second Journey to Germany").
