The Emergent Reader Series provides successful, motivational reading experiences for beginning and struggling readers. The series supports early literacy development with connected reading practice in narrative and informational decodable texts. The series can be used to supplement and enhance any beginning reading program. The comprehensive scope & sequence covers the letter-sound correspondences and irregular high-frequency words introduced in most K–1 beginning reading programs.
