INFORMATION BOOKS TEACHER'S GUIDE 2

Cambridge Reading is a major new reading scheme which provides stimulating books and support materials for the teaching of reading throughout the primary years. The Information Books Teacher's Guide 2 accompanies the nine information books in the third phase of the scheme, Towards Independence (mainly for Year 2/Primary 3). It gives essential guidance on how to develop information retrieval skills through the use of the nine books and the accompanying worksheet activities. Part 2 of the guide provides photocopiable worksheets, teacher's notes and background information for each of the nine titles, with suggestions for extension activities that link the books and the worksheet activities to the wider curriculum.
