LETTERS FROM FATHER CHRISTMAS (AUDIO CASSETE)

This tape was inspired by the Novelty title of the same name, published Christmas 1995. This tape comprises a festive reading of letters written by Tolkien to his children, in the guise of Father Christmas, over a period of twenty years. The letterstell the adventures -- and misadventures! -- of Father Christmas's life at the North Pole, and of his helpers -- the mischievous North Polar Bear and sensible Ilbereth the Elf. The letters are perfect for reading aloud, with plenty of humour. They also interspersed with carols and Christmassy music to give a real seasonal feel.
