MODEL DRIVEN ARCHITECTURE - FOUNDATIONS AND APPLICATIONS

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Third European Conference on Model Driven Architecture: Foundations and Applications, ECMDA-FA 2007, held in Haifa, Israel in June 2007. The 16 revised full papers presented--nine from the foundations track and seven from the applications track--were carefully reviewed and selected from 60 submissions. The papers address all current issues of model-driven architecture (MDA), including the use of models in the specification, design, analysis, synthesis, deployment, and evolution of complex software systems. Coverage also includes such foundational topics as metamodeling, model transformations, reverse engineering, testing, simulation, aspect modeling, modeling QoS and security, and software process modeling. In addition, application-oriented papers represent the views and experiences of industrial practicability in MDA, thus setting requirements on the foundations and tools for MDA.
